DO YOU LIKE TO PAAAARRRRRTTTYYY!! Well if you do the week you have waited for is here. What week is that you may ask? My birthday week. What is a birthday week you may ask? Well I didn’t know what a birthday week was until I married my lovely wife.
Apparently in my wife’s family you get a birthday week. Tradition started by my father-in-law. When it is your birthday you get a whole week to celebrate. Isn’t that an awesome idea? So with my birthday in June 8th I get to celebrate my birthday week. The traction lets you even adjust when your week starts. So I started mine on Saturday.
What does that mean? Do I get presents every day? No but any normal boring everyday decision comes down to me. We went to the movies. Who gets to choose the movie? I do of course it is my birthday week. We went out for dinner. Who get to choose the restaurant? I do of course. Ann can’t you feel the power?
Can you get your birthday week to run into some vacation? If you do the music in the car should be controlled by the birthday week person. First choice of bed at the hotel. Better seat in the roller coaster. The possibilities are limitless.
One other thing to consider. I also get a week for Father’s day. That’s right I own most of June. There is only one draw back to the wonderful world of birthday weeks. What? Other people have birthdays too so they get a week. Try not to build up too much anti-karma.
