Life with rose (or yellow) colored glasses

I bought a pair of sunglasses the other day. (Okay they are really safety glasses but I find them more comfortable because my head is so big. (Okay I have a big head but it has to be to hold in my big brain.)) Back to the story. These glasses have a yellow tint to them.

The first time I was driving with them I thought these are nice but don’t really stop the sun much. But then I was wearing them on a gloomy day and it changed the world. I mean seriously changed it. Having them on made the day seem like high noon compared to dusk.

I know what you are thinking why would you want sunglasses (okay I know safety glasses) that make the sun brighter. Because it makes the world seem more cheerful. I am serious. I even test to see if it is making my eyesight better (it’s not) because the world around me is so much more vivid.

I like seeing the world behind yellow tinted glasses. It makes me happy and I can never have too much happiness in my world.

p.s. this is not a commercial for safety glasses. This is a commercial for happiness. Although money can’t buy happiness but it can buy yellow tinted safety glasses.

I feel the same way, I wear yellow sunglasses all winter and it is like always a warm summer day with them on! I would love to see a study done on yellow tinted glasses! Well done!
