Bacon, bacon, and bacon. It is pretty yummy.


So I had some free time the other morning and decided to try something that I have been wanting to do for a while.

Bacon in the Oven.

It seemed pretty easy. It took a little time to get it to the crispness I wanted it to but it worked out really good. Put some tinfoil on the cookie sheet and the bacon on a wire rack. Turn the oven on 375 and let it cook. The recipe said stick it in the oven while it was cold and then let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes.  Mine took longer than that but I have always thought my oven was a super slow preheater.  Still with a bit of observation it came out just the way I like it. With surprisingly little splatter.

I am all for making bacon easier to cook. That makes it easier to eat and I am all about eating more bacon.

    Yes, I love this method! My family figured it out a couple years ago and we pretty much flipped, thinking of how much time we could have saved. Although we never bother with the tinfoil. And our cooking time always runs a little long, too.

    Yay for more bacon!
