MLB look out for my daughter – Or not

Ahh keeping kids busy could keep a parent super busy. Maybe it is wishful thinking but I plan on my daughter focusing on one thing. Sure only one thing can still keep her unbelievably busy but one thing is the plan.

To make sure she has experience with lots of things we are making sure while she is young that she gets experience in lots of areas. As part of this experience we signed her up for tee-ball. Don’t call it baseball. “It’s tee-ball dad. Teeeeee-ballllll”

Even though she feels strongly about the pronunciation she didn’t feel strongly about the game. In fact she didn’t like it. She loved playing in the dirt but not fielding the ball. More often than not her legs were too tired to run the bases. If you asked her what her favorite part of tee-ball was I am sure it would be that she got to bring cold drinks for the team.

So my dreams of her playing in the major leagues have taken a sever hit. If you are not convinced look at this video of her final (possibly ever) tee-ball at bat.
