There are times where I think I am doing a pretty good job of raising my daughter. When I first heard that we were having a girl I was scared. The thought of raising a teenage girl is still terrifying but this Halloween I got another affirmation that so far I am doing okay.
The last thing I want is a girly girl. I don’t want someone who takes forever to get ready. Who wants that really? Asking my daughter what she wanted to be for Halloween she was animate about being Spider-Man. Okay not Spider-Man she wanted to be Spider-Man girl. How does one make a Spider-Man a Spider-Man girl. It is as easy as pie. You take a Spider-Man suit and throw a tutu on it.
Isn’t she cute? Not only did she want to be Spider-Man girl she also wanted our whole family to be Avengers. I told you this girl has the perfect mix of tomboy and girl. My wife got a Captain America shirt (which she looked really good in by the way) and I was told I need to be the Incredible Hulk.
I Hulk up my costume but my daughter thought it was a little scary. So anytime she felt scared the whole night she would hold up her hand and shot it with Spider-Man girl webs. She is the cutest thing ever.
Well that could not be any cuter. Good job, dad. 😉

Thanks. I was quite proud of her choice. She loved wearing it and shot webs and anything scary all night. Halloween is such an awesome holiday for kids.
